D.Film Tour Dates

Bart and the boys are back to break some more digital moulds with their up-coming 21 city "worldwide" tour. D.Film has been a regular feature in Filter and this series looks to be just as good, kicking off on August 7th at Seattle's Moore Theater.

The program will feature new work from Chris Cunningham, Spike Jonze, Wiggle, PDI, DJ Qbert's collaboration with digital filmmakers Syd and Eric Henry "Turntable TV", graphic novel artist Dave McKean, this year's Academy Award winning short film "Bunny" and "much, much, more."

A special live performance by Live Nude Girls will kickoff the event. Live Nude Girls, are best known for their rapid-fire anime collage "Japan-o-rama" which screened in D.FILM 98 ... this year they will create a live media montage of video samples, computer effects and a "live DJ". Ooooo, those live DJ's get me every time.

So, if you feel like strutting your digital stuff at "one of" the best festivals around [calm down Matt, Shane and Jonathan, I said "one of"] you'll be able to find D.Film in the following cities:
