Free CD: Caribbean Eclipse
OK ... more free stuff ... the 'Flying Rhino Freestyle' presents
the debut compilation called Caribbean Eclipse ... and we have
three copies to give away.
Work on the Caribbean Eclipse album began during the total solar
eclipse of 1998 when a group of Freestyle Rhinos headed for the
Choroni area of Venezuela and recorded soundbytes of Caribbean
life. The result was a sound journal of the eclipse experience from
cocoa bean farms, birds and drummers to samples of the people -
locals and travelers, that gathered under the hot Latin skies to
celebrate this amazing natural spectacle.
Caribbean Eclipse is "a fusion of the organic and the digital; a
euphoric electronic soundtrack that conjures up both the intense
Latin flavours and the party vibrations on the scorching sand dunes
on the coast of Venezuela." Featured artists Banco de Gaia, Woob,
Binah, Total Eclipse and Western Rebel Alliance, plus many more,
are all renowned for their ambient music and come from diverse
dance-music backgrounds.
You want some of this? Email us on the address below with what
you are doing the eclipse on August 11th this year and the three
most entertaining replies will win.

something up ...
