Included in Beloff's works are many toy cinematic devices designed for children in the early part of this century. "I have always thought of them as my secret history of QuickTime movies," Beloff writes, "the lost precursors to my own attempts at interactive cinema." Forming a "lost parallel" history of cinema, they are in Beloff's opinion, "toys to think with."
