Acetate TV

The bastion of British broadcasting is "sorting" itself out for the first of a new 6-part BBC2 series called "Acetate" which will be broadcast at 11.15 p.m on Monday 14th June. Donning their new Nikes and disco pants, the show aims to approach the UK scene as a culture, looking at art, fashion and design in addition to clubs and music.

There will also be live sessions, with a different act each week, and leading figures in dance music will be invited to make their own film and air their opinions. The first programme will be presented by Carl Cox and features a film celebrating 10 years in the business for the legendary New York House Label, Strictly Rhythm. This will include interviews with Masters At Work, Roger Sanchez and Strictly boss, Mark Finklestein.
