Mobile Madness

Is it us or is America doing something wrong when trying to market mobile phones? It seems that for those daft enough to sign-up for the service have to pay for both his/her outgoing *and* incoming calls. Catchy.

However, those bold people at the FCC are proposing to make it process easier for wireless carriers to bill callers rather than receivers of mobile-phone calls. The commission sees the rules as "a way to boost use of wireless phones and foster competition between providers of wireless and regular phone service." Click ... the penny drops and they realise what they're been doing wrong all this time.
